We offer a range of community service programs to create low-barrier access to practical and emotional supports for our community members
College Park Court Support
Volunteers provide practical and emotional support to women and their families navigating court systems. Our volunteers assist with referrals, information, and resources. We also provide free snacks, clothing, and personal hygiene products to women who have been released on bail.
If you are appearing at College Park Court and need support, please contact the Court Support Volunteer in the office outside courtroom 506 or call (416) 598-3135 Monday to Friday.
If you are incarcerated and looking to arrange support prior to your appearance, please call 1-855-924-3708.
PLEASE NOTE: at this time our in-person Court Support is currently on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Social - Recreational
Program at Vanier Centre for Women
Volunteers offer bi-weekly social programming and help organize recreational events for women incarcerated at Vanier. Volunteers also provide women with information and resources about Elizabeth Fry Toronto and other supports available to them in the community.
PLEASE NOTE: our in-person visits to Vanier are currently on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Talk and Listen
Getting access to information and resources while in prison is challenging - our Talk & Listen volunteers are here to help. We work with callers as they navigate the criminal justice system by offering information and resources related to legal information, housing, mental health services, reintegration, release planning, and more - all with a listening and compassionate ear. Please note, we do not make third party calls, or call on anyone’s behalf.
Give us a toll-free call from Monday to Friday from 9:30-4:00pm 1-855-924-3708.
The Market Place is a FREE personalized shopping experience for women who are marginalized, particularly those who have been recently released from incarceration.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our Market Place is closed to the public.
